Sri Mayapur Chandrodaya Mandir ISKCON is a Hindhu temple. Sri Chandrodaya Mandir, ISKCON is situated in Mayapur of West Bengal. Acharya, Srila Prabhupada is the founder of the Sri Mayapur Chandrodaya Mandir, ISKCON in his Vyasasana. On the Right side of the Main deity there is large Statue of Madhava (Lord Krishna) and Radha (lover of Lord Krishna) is placed and there are eight Gopikas(Ashta Sakhis) surrounded by the statue. Sri Indulekha, Sri Lalita,Sri Rangadevi, Sri Chitra, Sri Tungavidya,Sri Champakalata, Sri Vishaka and Sri Sudevi, along with Giri-Govardhana and Gauranga Mahaprabhu.There is a Procession during Ratha-yatra and other festivals for that there is small Radha Madhava deities which goes out in procession, the famous festivals for Radha-Madhava is swing festival(Jhulana-yatra) or boat festival.These deities come out for procession every Saturday after the Sandhya-arthi on the chariot.This ritual is done till Gaura Purnima from begining of Damodara (Kartika) month. Sri Mayapur Chandrodaya Mandir, ISKCON temple main Deity is Radha-Krishna(Radha-Madhava).
