Magudeswarar  Temple is also known as Magudeswarar alayam Temple. The Temple is a Hindu temple dedicated to Lord Shiva. It is located in Erode District, Tamil Nadu ,India. Their is a Kaveri (cave) river located right in front of the Magudeswarar Temple which is about 40 km away from the district Erode. The Magudeswarar Temple consists of seven main Shrines. which are Magudeshwara,sundaranayaki, Veeranarayana perumal , Sahni tree , Anjaneya swami, shaneeswar and Surya & Chandra? The main legend of this Temple are from sage Agastya, were they noticed that the idol was disappeared. Then the sage caught the idol in his hand, and he sees that his hand remained to be seen in that.

Magudeswarar  Temple celebrates the Chithirai Tirunal festival on the 11th day in the month of April and May which is their main festival.
