Sri Lakshmi Narayani Golden Temple or famous Golden Temple is spread over an area of 100 acres. This temple is a comparatively newly constructed temple, which was inaugurated in the year 2007. This Divine temple was constructed by Sri Sakthi Amma. It is said that Sri Sakthi amma designed this temple through the concept of the construction she received from her divine Vision.
It is estimated that the number of devotes at the temples even reaches to 1 lakh at some occasions. Special gold decorators from different parts have crafted the statue of Goddess lakshmi. Not just the Murthis of Gods but the Temple’s exterior has also been covered with sheets of pure gold. It is said that these layers of gold has been prepared manually; and the fact is that the temple is covered with about nine to almost twelve gold layers. The overall construction cost of this divine and grand temple is said to be more than 300 crore.
