Sri Durga Malleswara Swamy Varla Devasthanam is situated on the left Bank of River Krishna at Vijayawada, in the state of Andhra Pradesh. The Goddess worshiped here is Kanaka Durga, who manifested herself on the hillock known as Indrakeeladri. The Shrine is estimated to be originated in 8th century. According to the history of the Temple, it was constructed during the Regime of Mogalaya rulers.
