Shree Gundicha Temple is a Hindu temple situated in the town of Puri in the state of Odisha, India. Shree Gundicha Temple puri is significant for being the destination of the celebrated annual Rath Yatra of Puri. While temple puri remains vacant most of the year. The Temple is occupied by images of the deities of Lord Jagannath. Brother of Jagannath ,Balabhadra and sister Subhadra for seven complete days. which is every year during the annual Rath Yatra festival in Shree Gundicha Temple.
Shree Gundicha Temple is known to its famous garden house in Jagannath,this in puri stands in the centre of a beautiful garden, wihch surrounded by compound walls on all sides of the pilgrim.The temple puri lies at a distance of about 3 kilometres (1.9 mi) from the Shrimandira, the main temple of Jagannath. These two temples are located at the two ends of the Bada Danda (Grand Avenue) which is the pathway for the Rath Yatra.
The Rath Yatra in Shree Gundicha Temple:-
The Rath Yatra in Shree Gundicha Temple begins on the second moony day. The bright fortnightof the Hindu month of Ashadha (august). The day before the Ratha Yatra in temple puri is religiously cleansed for housing the gods.On the very first day of the yatra, the deities in the temple are transported in chariots from the main temple.This is the famous Rath Yatra of Jagannath Puri. The temple has three deities are transported in three magnificent chariots. Drawn by the numerous devotees gathered there at temple.

The visiting duration of devoties is only alloted between 1 hr to 3 hrs per day.
