Shree Adya Katyayani Shaktipeeth Mandir is an Hindhu temple which is located to goddess Katyayani(an avathar of lord Parvathi). Shree Adya Katyayani Shaktipeeth Mandir is located in a place called Chhatarpur, south Delhi which is near by to Qutub Minar. As Katyayni is an avatar of lord Durga matha Navarathri is celebrated grandly and devotees irrespective of caste and creed are welcomed here for pooja.
The Shree Adya Katyayani Shaktipeeth Mandir was funded by sri Nagpal ji after his death in the remembrance of him his Samadhi was built in the premises of shiva gouri Nageshwar temple.
As Durga devi is worshipped in all over India Adya Katyayani Shaktipeeth Mandir has been built by marbels in both south as well as north styled architecture design.
Shree Adya Katyayani Shaktipeeth Mandir premises consists of a place called Shayan Kaksha which is believed as the bed room of lord Katyayni, it consists of a bed, table for dressing and mainly a meeting table which has nine chairs each representing an avatar of Nava Durgis and all these items are made up of silver.
Nagpalji house has been constructed to museum which consists of items which he used until his death.
