Shani Temple Thirunallar

Shani Temple Thirunallar is unique of its kind in the whole world and is the only temple dedicated to Lord Saturn. It is believed that whoever visits the temple of Lord Shani and prays will be relieved of all the curses and sufferings of his Present life. It is also believed that if one gets the blessings of Lord he or she lives a happy and prosperous life. The place where the temple is located was a forest before, of  Dharba Grass. By bathing here, it is believed that one washes off all kinds of misfortunes. A prayer to him, especially on Saturdays is said to mitigate the hardships of one’s lives.
