Mannarasala Sree Nagaraj Temple is a Hindu temple dedicated to Nagaraja (King of Snakes) for worshipping Snakes, it is located in Kerala, India.
History of Mannarasala Sree Nagaraj Temple in Kerala says that it once Parashurama in order to safeguard himself from the sin that heĀ made by killed Kshatriyas asked the Rishi Muni’s to help him, then those Rishi Muni’s told him offer a piece of Land of his to the Brahmins, Parashurama threw the axe to the sea which was given by Lord Shiva to him and then that sea became a Land which was given as a gift to Brahmins, but people refused to stay there as it was a forest and the forest was filled by poisonous snakes and that poison was even spread to Soil of that place so the only solution for this was to pray the Lord Shiva and people followed this and then the king os Serpents Nagaraja pleased by the worship gave a solution to this and from that day Mannarasala Sree Nagaraj is worshipped here.
