Lingaraj Temple is dedicated to Lord Shiva and is one of the oldest Hindu temples in Bhubaneswar, Odisha, India. The temple is the largest temple in Bhubaneswar and considered as the pride for the City. The Lingaraj Temple is built in Kalinga style architecture by the Somavamshi dynasty, it is built-in Dula Style and consists of four components Vimana, Jagamohana, Natamandira and Bhoga mandapa. There’s a river under the Lingaraj temple which fills the Bindusagar, the water is believed to heal the physical and spiritual illness of the devotees who take a holy dip. Shivratri is the main festival celebrated in this temple and attracts tourists from all over the world.
