A 10th-century Hindu temple The Lakshmana Temple Madhyapradesh is located in Khajuraho, built by Yashovarman, India. Lakshman Temple Madhyapradesh Dedicated to Vaikuntha Vishnu – an aspect of Vishnu. The Lakshman Temple built by Chandela kings. In Khajuraho Lakshmana Temple is one of the first magnificent structures established. The temple is known to be an architectural marvel, amongst the largest temples set in the Western Wing of the Khajuraho complex, this temple is a beautiful shrine.
The temple’s exterior wall exhibits images of over 600 gods and the architecture is simply marvelous. “Adhishthana” The lowest platform, forms the base on which the Lakshmana Temple stands imposing 25.9 m long.
The framework comprises in the entrance porch, antrala, a mandapa, garbha graha, and maha-mandapa. Lakshmana Temple is unique because of the rectangular frame and features supplementary to something shrines at the four corners of its platform.
