Dakshineshwar Kali Temple is a Hindu Temple dedicated to Goddess Kali (feared form of Goddess Parvathi), it is located in West Bengal, India.
The history of the temple says that it was built by Rashmoni Rani, who once planned to go to the Kali temple along with her relatives in 24 boats and one day in a dream the Maha Kali appeared in the dreams of the Roshmani Rani and asked her to build the temple for her and she will accept the worship of devotees, on the banks of the River Ganga. Then Rani decided to build the temple on the bank of the river according to the wish of the Kali matha, and then purchased 20 acres of land and built a beautiful temple of Kali temple.
The temple is built in the Bengal style of architecture like Nava Rathna representing the nine forms of the Durga’s. Dakshineshwar¬† Kali Temple will be open on all days of the week and there is no entry fee for the temple
