Buddha Temple Dehradun is a Tibetan monastery which is also called as Mindrolling Monastery. It is located at the clement town, Dehradun, Uttarakhand.  The Temple was built in 1965 by eminence the Lochen Ripoch and also other monks for promotion. They were also known for the protection of religious and cultural for the understanding of Buddhism.

Buddha Temple Dehradun complex was built as one of the four schools of Tibetan religion over many buddha temples. Where it is also known as “Nyingma” but others as Sakya,Kagyu, and Geluk. It is believed as the largest Buddhist temple in Asia and it is been visited by hundreds of tourists. Buddha Temple Dehradun is built about 220 feet height and has five floors enshrine statues of buddha and guru inside the temple.

The Buddha Temple has the major attraction of the temple is a Buddha statue which is 130 feet tall. which was dedicated to the Dalai Lama in the Tibetan Buddhist Temple. The temple complex also comprises of a beautiful garden and a bookstore that stocks Tibetan books.
