Bhoga Nandeeshwara Temple is a Hindu temple dedicated to Lord Shiva. It is located in Chikkaballapur district of the state of Karnataka, India.
The temple is built in the Dravidian style of architecture and according to the Archaeological Survey of India it is one of the oldest temples of Karnataka and it is been protected as the Monument of national importance.
The temple is built by Rashtrakuta Dynasty, the temple consists of two main shrines called Arunachaleshwar, Bhoga Nandeeshwar and there one more shrine called Uma Maheshwara, according to the people these three shrines represent the three stages of Lord Shiva that is Childhood, Old-age and that Uma Maheshwara represents the marriage of Shiva and Parvathi as there is a Kalyana Mantapa near the Uma Maheshwara shrine.
The Bhoga Nandeeshwara temple is located at the base of the Nandi Hills and is one of the must-see place in Karnataka. People who will come to see Nandi Hills will also visit this temple, there is no entry fee or the dress code for the temple and the temple will be open even during public holidays.
